Description

Nestled in a food court beside an Asian supermarket, this stall specializes in freshly made noodles—standouts include spicy beef tendon and biang biang—served in generous portions. Quality varies: some dishes are excellent while others are merely average, with occasional saltiness, dry beef, or thin broth. Service and ordering are fast but inconsistent, with awkward interactions, order mistakes and reports of mandatory tipping. Recommended for adventurous noodle lovers and lunch crowds; plan on roughly $75 for two including tips.

I ordered a pork dish that looked like a crepe, and it was pretty average—nothing exceptional. I saw that they mentioned making their noodles fresh, so I might consider coming back to try those next time. Food rating: 3/5.

Always find myself coming back here for the noodles in sesame sauce. Absolutely fantastic! Must try if you haven't been.

The noodles are really good. I would just add though that they can get kinda salty at times. Ordering with them is very awkward sometimes as they'll just look at you and wait for you to start ordering. The food is pretty great though so maybe the awkward tension is worth it.

We got the jingdong pork patty, biang biang, Liang pi and splashing oil noodles. The pork patty tasted pretty much like a flat pork dumpling the flavor was pretty good. I always wanted to try biang biang noodles I really enjoyed it! The noodles were a bit stuck together but still bouncy yummy. The pork was flavorful tender. I'm sure it would have tasted much better if I ate there and not taken it home to eat. The other two noodles were just okay.

Morefan is one of many restaurants inside the food court next to the Asian supermarket. I had to try their spicy beef tendon noodle soup which I have not seen on the menu anywhere else in town. On a Friday at noon, there was no line so I was able to order immediately. About 5 mins later, my buzzer went off and I was able to pick up my soup. My first impression was that the tendon and beef looked different (the tendon looked drier and the beef was in slices vs. chunks) than other photos I had seen on Yelp. The soup had a *very* healthy portion of noodles probably a little more than one person should eat for lunch but I finish them all. The noodles had a nice toothsome texture. There was also plenty of tender pieces of delicious tendon. I wish there had been more beef though. My only criticism was that the broth itself was somewhat lacking in depth of flavor. But overall, I still recommend this dish if you enjoy tendon!
