We had a wonderful experience at the restaurant! The service was excellent, and the rotisserie chicken was simply outstanding. The prices were quite reasonable as well. It made for a lovely date night. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Main Street Bistro And Bakery:
The food was disappointing. The eggs tasted pre-made, the bread was stale and hard, and the hashbrowns and potatoes were soggy and overcooked. The charcuterie board was a letdown, and it didn’t even arrive on a proper board. This was especially frustrating given the price. The mimosa was good because it was strong, but it was served in a broken pitcher. Overall, it was quite frustrating. View all feedback.
The food was disappointing. The eggs tasted pre-made, the bread was stale and tough, and the hash browns and potatoes were soggy and undercooked. The charcuterie board was laughable and didn’t even arrive on a proper board—especially considering the price. The mimosa was enjoyable because it was strong, but it was served in a broken pitcher. Overall, it was a very underwhelming experience.
The interior is charming but feels a bit cramped. Although they've made some adjustments to alleviate the crowding, it still isn't ideal. The noise level can be high, even when the restaurant isn’t full. The patio seating is not the most comfortable, but it can be enjoyable to sit outside and watch people. Overall, I think this place is worth a visit, and I’ll keep coming back, even if I find it to be just mediocre.
The staff were wonderful, and the food was good. I would definitely return for breakfast!
I love that my sisters surprised me for my birthday today! The service, atmosphere, reasonable price was great! The Santa Monica chicken add a little pepper to it and this is the Bomb! Tomato basil soup delicious and I?m so glad there is no cheese added toit! French onion soup delicious! Sweet potato fries seasoned and cooked perfectly! We all enjoyed the food and mimosa! All wasgood until I tasted the dessert this evening. It tasted off and when I cut the second piece there was mold. I am horrified andthe taste is still in my mouth after flossing and brushing. Any suggestions on how to remove the taste from my mouth iswelcomed. The five star review is now 3.5.
I've been visiting this restaurant for a long time, and I often find that I appreciate the concept more than the actual experience. The food is usually decent, with some dishes standing out as really good, but there are also times when it disappoints. It's a bit of a mixed bag. The service has always been friendly, but it can be inconsistent. Even when the place isn't busy, it might take a while to receive attention. While they do a good job of keeping coffee refilled, they could improve on bringing water and checking in to see if you need anything. The interior is charming, but it often feels a bit cramped. They've made some adjustments to reduce crowding, but the space still doesn't feel ideal. It tends to get loud, even when the restaurant isn’t full. The outdoor seating is not the most convenient layout, but it’s enjoyable to be outside and people-watch. Overall, I think this restaurant is worth a visit, and I’ll keep coming back, even if my overall impression is moderate.
