Restaurant had plenty of seating at 6:30 pm on a Saturday. The seafood noodles with lobster looked good but were lacking in the amount of seafood provided. Noodles (what we came for) were cooked to a mushy consistency which was disappointing. The server insisted on memorizing our group’s order, only for us to correct him when he recapped several items incorrectly. The food brought was also incorrect, so maybe write the order down?Galbi here was excellent. Super juicy and with a lot of char flavor. Unfortunately the noodles weren’t worth it.

I have been wanting to try here for a long time and I was not disappointed!! I got the beef noodle soup and it was so flavorful and refreshing! My friend got one of the rice bowls and she loved it.I'm looking forward to trying this place again!!

Great service and amazing food! We had bibim kooksoo and bulgogi with rice, and it was sooo good! Will definitely be back to try other dishes.

Place was busy and did a reservation at the front via online app. ETA 15 mins. we went to do some walking, 45 mins later, no calls?. we went back seeing what was wrong and the place was empty... but we ended up going in anyways and they apologies forforgetting to send us the text/call. They made it up with a few pieces of dumplings so we called it even : . A restaurant thatnot only admits their mistake but would come up with a way to make it up. Still a tad upset but great professionalism. TyKooksoo.

There are a lot of Korean dishes that are very underrated and deserve more attention in the spotlight. Out with the tofu-jigae, and in with the Jjam Ppong! Just kidding, I still love me some tofu-jigae. I would say Kooksoo is the Korean equivalent of a phorestaurant, but with much higher quality ingredients and larger portions. Come very hungry, and sharing is highly recommendedbetween at least 2-3 people. I only got the chance to try the King Ribs Jjam Ppong. The only thing that made me sad about it,was that I couldn't finish it on my own. The meal is held in a large metal bowl, which keeps the soup hot throughout. Itcontains noodles, veggies, and various types of seafood. My favorite part is the two large, extremely tender, short rib. Themeat literally falls off the bone. For $20, this is a steal! I wish I got to try the galbi, but that will have to be for nexttime. We also got a free side of Korean fried dumplings for checking into Yelp. It was essentially a fried cheese dumpling.Nothing special to note, except that it was free. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant to be included in any fooditinerary. The only con about this place is that it's only in the Dallas area. I would love it if they came to Houston!
