The sweet and spicy sandwich is hands down the most delicious chicken sandwich I’ve ever had! Just go order in person or order carryout via the delivery apps. Seems the bad rep is coming from deliveries. View all feedback.
What Coleman R doesn't like about Fuku:
I don't know if I have ever written a review, but I just ordered this food even after reading the yelp reviews. I received a completely raw uncooked chicken sandwhich and hoping I do not get food poisoning. View all feedback.
We ordered two days in advance and got the notification that it was being prepared and picked up. We got a notification 30 mins before that our order was cancelled. There’s no way that food had run out, especially with us ordering way in advance. We are really disappointed and it seems to be the case with most people.
We decided to try David Chang's new Fuku in Plano, Texas today. It is delivery only, so we ordered through Doordash. We ordered the following: Fiance C.B.R. with no pickles and regular Crispy Waffle Fries. Myself Knockout Sando, Sweet and Spicy Fingers, and jalapeño Crispy Waffle Fries.First, the impressions on the looks of the food. The good comes in Fuku branded boxes. The sandwiches themselves look like any sandwiches you would get from any generic food truck. Undersized top buns gave a little sloppy look but by no means a turn off. The Crispy Waffle Fries are also in the boxes and when you open it, it can look like the amount of fries are sparse, but I think it was enough after eating. The fiancé is not someone who can handle spicy food. The C.B.R. was spicy to her. I took a bite and found it had a little kick but if you are able to handle spicy then I think you can handle it. She loved the chicken and the Martins potato roll on the sandwhich. She enjoyed the Waffle Fries as well. I thought the chicken in her sandwich was incredibly tasty as well. Now on to my sandwich, the Knockout Sando. It was delicious. I loved the habanero chicken breast. The spice with the knockout sauce gave just right amount of kick. The shredded cabbage and the pickles gave it a balanced taste as well. The Sweet and Spicy Fingers were delicious also! The glaze used was well applied with no spot of any chicken missed. The fingers were amazing with and without being dipped in the ranch sauce.Overall, it comes down to: Would we order Fuku again? I have to say yes and we would/will recommend Fuku to others. Remember it is delivery only, so you will have to pay delivery fees from whichever delivery service you choose plus any tip to the driver.

Was excited to try out this new ghost kitchen for lunch. The food that was delivered was at best luke warm. I was surprised though that even though cold the waffle fries remained super crispy. The problem was they had no real flavor. The stand alone tenders and the tenders used in the sandwich were just ok. Honestly for all of the hype around this ghost kitchen and the price I paid I just expected more. IMO there are better overall options for a chicken sandwich out there.
I order through ubereats. 1. missing items on the order 2. the chicken sando is the worst sando. Popeyes and KFC is way better. I am surprise Chang is putting his name and not overseeing his production. 3. overprice 4. long wait time 6... not returning however, the fries were good..
