Good service at the counter and kitchen was clean and efficient. Oysters on the half-shell were fresh. Fish, frogbon and rubber cups were good, not especially, but acceptable. Fried shrimps were quite bad, old and very fishy tasting. I didn't eat the shrimp anymore. The prices are high. We would pay their price if we could trust the shrimps.
I was invited out for dinner, and since it's Lent, I mentioned that I wanted seafood. This place was suggested, and I'm so glad it was! First off, it was absolutely amazing! I had the Fried Shrimp Basket and Crawfish, and both were delicious. My god sister ordered the Shrimp Po' Boy, which also looked fantastic. We were hoping for oysters, but unfortunately, they were sold out. The atmosphere here is really cool, and even though there was a line when we arrived, it was definitely worth the wait. I will definitely be returning!
Overall, it was a decent experience, but the portion sizes varied significantly between dishes, making some a better value than others. In my photo, you can see how massive the shrimp is compared to the small size of the catfish fillets. Because of this, I wouldn't recommend the catfish.
Very clean restaurant. Good selection of local beers. They didn?t have raw oysters but grilled snapper was excellent.
