Very clean restaurant. Good selection of local beers. They didn?t have raw oysters but grilled snapper was excellent.
Nice clean restaurant. Friendly staff, however the food is not that good. It's flavorless. All of our dishes except for the hush puppies were totally bland
This was our first time coming to Flying Fish. The first thing I noticed was how comfortable it was inside. It's a very big space, so you don't feel crowded. We ended up choosing to sit on the patio because it was surprisingly cool in the evening, evenon a day that had almost reached 100. My wife had the grilled shrimp tacos with fries. I had the catfish tacos with red beansand rice. I was surprised by the hard corn shell instead of a flour tortilla. The initial presentation seemed a bit basic butthe flavors and texture were perfect. The crispy shell added a nice crunch to the taco, and the shrimp and catfish were cookedperfectly. I loved the coleslaw and pico topping it all off, but my wife thought the slaw was a bit too sweet. It was a greatexperience all around. From the friendly cashier, the comfortable ambience, cool patio with great food! We will be lookingforward to our next visit!
Good service at the counter and kitchen was clean and efficient. Oyster on the half shell were fresh. Catfish, frog legs and gumbo were good, not special but acceptable. Fried shrimp were quite bad, old and very fishy tasting. I stopped eating theshrimp after one bite. Prices are high. We would pay their price if we could trust the shrimp.
I was invited for dinner and being that it is Lent, I stated I had to have Seafood, and well, this is where I was taken. Let me start by saying, IT WAS SO GOOD! I had the Fried Shrimp Basket and Crawfish, both were Delicious. My God Sister had theShrimp Po 'Boy and it too looked delicious. We wanted Oysters, but they were out. The Atmosphere is so cool. There was a linewhen we went, but well worth the wait. I Mostly definitely will be going back!
