Description

At this daytime café on Custer Road in Plano, farm-style breakfasts shine with signature omelettes (Triathlete, Inspired Italian, Chile Chorizo), seasonal pancakes and exceptional coffee — they even sell beans. Service is warm and efficient, with hands-on management and easy seating making it a popular spot for families, couples and health-minded diners. Menu substitutions and customizable plates add flexibility. Expect occasional missteps: unevenly cooked potatoes, small portions or late, cold plates and underseasoning when kitchen timing falters.

Poor parking, no flavor, salt and pepper grinders are not being refilled so you can't flavor your own food, ice coffee was not good, potatoes are cut uneven so each bite is either burn or half raw. Very small portions to some things, food came out at different times and still cold, they sat us with a highchair in a booth. We got to be there for the waffle delivery ?

Some of the standout dishes include: - The Triathlete, which is both healthy and flavorful - The Inspired Italian omelet - The Chile Chorizo omelet - The seasonal pancakes, which are often surprisingly delicious A couple of things to keep in mind: 1) They offer a default artisan bread that some may love, while others might not enjoy it as much (but they do have usual substitutes available). 2) Some dishes come with a tangy vinegary salad that some may find unusual for breakfast; I personally enjoy it and appreciate its health benefits, but many prefer to swap it out for potatoes instead. A handy tip: The Trifecta includes eggs, a waffle, and your choice of breakfast meat, but you can customize it by substituting the waffle for seasonal pancakes (which I did today) or French toast. If you prefer to switch out for a fruit cup, theirs has a bit more variety than most, which is a pleasant surprise.

I ordered the triathlete omelette and it was absolutely delicious. I arrived around 10 a.m. and left by 10:30, and everything went so smoothly—getting seated, placing my order, eating, and settling the bill. The staff was incredibly friendly as well.

It can be quite noisy, but I’m willing to overlook that for the quality of the food and service.
