Dickey's Barbecue Pit - Plano

I visited around 1 PM for a quick lunch and was pleasantly surprised! This is quite possibly the best Dickey's I've ever been to! The food was fresh, and the seating area was spotless. Arely was incredibly helpful and made sure I was well taken care of!

The decor is fantastic and the food is amazing. I enjoyed some of the best brisket I've ever had today, packed with a delicious smoky flavor. The staff is incredibly friendly as well.

This is the second Dickey's ever built, and it's so impressive! It features an old-school buffet line where you can serve yourself. This location even has ice cream! I asked if they used a pellet or wood smoker, and they still use wood—how fantastic is that? The staff was excellent, and I had the best sausage I've ever tasted. They also have a large relish bar and warm sauce! I highly recommend this place!

This is a nice, quiet spot for lunch. The seating has a rustic charm, as usual. The ice machine is clean, and there are good options for side dishes. The prices are a bit high for a cafeteria-style meal, but that's just how things are these days. Overall, I would give the food a rating of 4 out of 5.

The BBQ sandwich did not match the description or appearance shown. The portion of beef was small, and the meat was not trimmed at all. Additionally, the potato casserole we loved is no longer available. Unfortunately, we will be choosing to avoid this place in the future. It was an expensive and very small sandwich.
