Amazing Saturday family date night! Bill was a great server...we all loved his dad jokes ! The food was great...kids had pizza and wings, adults had spaghetti and meatballs. Cappuccino cake, cannoli, and chocolate mousse cake for dessert. We 'll be back. View all feedback.
Fantastic local gem! The owner and staff are incredible, making you feel like you’re getting a personal touch, even when they're busy! The food is delicious! My mom absolutely loves the pesto tortellini. We’ll definitely be back soon! Food: 5/5
There are not enough words to describe my love of Covinos. The food is top notch and service is impeccable. Do not let the location deter you. Come in and be welcomed. Nothing fancy but wow the food is absolutely amazing! I’m hesitant to tell people, but the secret is already out. No reservations but worth the wait. Sit down, open a bottle of wine (it’s BYOB) and enjoy. You won’t regret coming, enjoying a welcoming atmosphere and incredible food.
We have been enjoying Covino's for years! The food and atmosphere are great! Joe Covino is there to greet you and get to know you. This is true Italian food. We love the pizza, everything is so delicious! I highly recommend it, and you can bring your own wine.
We were eager to try this new restaurant, but our experience was mixed. The creamy Italian salad dressing was delicious, even with just one slice of tomato on the salad. Unfortunately, the calamari lacked flavor, and the marinara sauce tasted like it came straight from a jar. On a positive note, the assortment of bread was tasty. I ordered the Spaghetti and Meatballs, but the marinara sauce was watery and tasteless. My husband had the Calzone, which was also lacking flavor and seemed watery inside, as if it had been frozen. Our daughter enjoyed the Chicken Agnolotti, which featured smoked chicken ravioli in a fresh basil cream sauce, and it was spectacular. We took a cheese pizza to go, but it reminded us of Sbarro's pizza from the mall. The Tiramisu and cheesecake were quite good. However, the service left much to be desired; our waiter didn't check on us for drink refills or to see if everything was satisfactory. Given the prices, this meal was not worth it.
We were looking forward to trying out a new restaurant. The creamy Italian salad dressing was delicious, even though there was just a single slice of tomato on the salad. Unfortunately, the calamari lacked flavor, and the marinara sauce tasted like it came straight from a jar—very bland. The bread assortment was enjoyable, though. My husband opted for the Calzone, which was also watery on the inside, as if it had been frozen, and it had no flavor as well. We took a cheese pizza home, but it reminded us of Sbarro pizza from the mall. The Tiramisu and cheesecake were quite good, however. The service left much to be desired; our waiter never checked in on us to offer more drinks or to see if we were satisfied with our meals. Given the prices, the overall experience just wasn’t worth it.
