Captain D's - Plano

My husband and I love this place, I always get the Lemon Pepper white fish with steamed broccoli and the green beans. It may take 5 to 10 minutes (depending on how busy it is),for our meals to come out but totally worth it. The quality of food is great for the price, it really can’t be beat to me. The staff is always respectful to us and happy to serve. The bathrooms are always cleaned and ready for the next person to use it. The building itself is in great standing and doesn’t look overran or not kept up with. I love that they always play classic oldies music here that any aged person can listen to. Keep up the good work here you all.

I was a little skeptical about ordering grilled fish from a fast food place. When I received my order, the presentation was fantastic. The tilapia and rice were cooked perfectly, the green beans were seasoned nicely, and the broccoli and bread roll were very fresh!

This place is expensive. The fish is good, but this time it was slightly over cooked. The hush puppies were old and tough, probably from the day before. The veggies were good. In comparison to the Captain D?s at Dolphin I-30 the size of the fish is bigger than it is in Plano and always fresh cooked.

Food is decent, but you have to request condiments. I ordered baked potato loaded with my meal and it only had cheese!! No ketchup. No Tatar sauce. No vinegar. No sour cream. No condiments at all! If I am paying restaurant prices for poor quality Monsanto food, the least you could do is make it right.

Food was ok remind me of hospital food bc of food trays. Portions were poor. Floors and windows were very filthy. Need some deep cleaning. Went to the one in 15th-Plano.
