The cupcake breads (not sure the exact english name) are probably the best I've found in the metroplex
This place never fails to serve fresh pastries. I recommend trying their cakes as it is pretty good quality.
They've changed their name but the baked goods are all the same.I love coming here to buy their Portuguese egg tarts. The egg tarts here are amazing and I always eat them too quickly before I can take a picture. Bad news is the egg tart prices keep going up and up and it's getting to the point where it's too expensive and not worth buying anymore (in my opinion), but it is delicious. My family and I aren't as big on the breads, but their breads are slow and fluffy and usually in the light side of flavor which I do like. But the portion size is on the smaller side.I recently ordered and bought a cake from them for the first time and they didn't disappoint. I got a regular vanilla fruit cake and it was SO GOOD. The cake was, like their breads, soft and fluffy. It was filled with fruit and decorations with fruit was free too. I will definitely come back in the future to order more cakes.
The owners are so nice, the egg tarts and cakes are great, the cranberry shortbread cookies are my fave. We got a cake for our wedding anniversary that was amazing.
This is a fantastic place! The food is incredibly delicious and fresh. Plus, the prices are more affordable than at other bakeries. I picked a variety of breads at random, and they were all great. I especially enjoyed the glutinous sticky rice with meat fillings. They accept both cash and cards, but I think there's a $5.00 minimum for card payments.
