Little did we know we were in for such a delightful surprise! The service was extraordinarily good, far exceeding our expectations. There was a palpable sense of camaraderie among the staff members, their teamwork creating a smoothly operating, welcoming environment.As for the ambiance, it perfectly matched my personal preferences for a dining establishment. The atmosphere was soothing and tranquil, conducive to intimate conversations without the interference of intrusive noise levels. The booths, both charming and comfortably furnished, contributed to the overall cozy and inviting feel of the place.While the food was indeed tasty, it was overshadowed by the stellar service that we received. This isn't to say the food was subpar, rather, the outstanding service simply took center stage, turning our meal into an experience that was less about what we ate and more about how we were treated. In other words, the service was so extraordinary that it overshadowed my recollection of the meal itself.This restaurant offered us an unexpectedly memorable dining experience where service was the true star, creating a lasting impression that certainly prompts us to revisit.

This is som... read more I visited the DFW area expecting just to find Mexican and bbq cuisine. Boy was I wrong. The service amazing, the head chef came out and spoke to us. This is something that many chefs don’t do and I highly appreciated. The food and drinks were excellent.I would definitely recommend for a family night out or even just to have a nice date night.

They consistently seat us within minutes, which is a rare and welcome experience nowadays given the decline in customer service at many places. The hostess is friendly and engaging, while the waitstaff are attentive and efficient. The menu features high-quality dishes like the chicken sandwich, French dip, salmon bites, bacon-wrapped jalapeños, and tres leches—all delicious. The patio is perfect, and it’s impressive that they grow their own herbs and lettuce on-site. While it’s on the pricier side, Bavette is absolutely worth it. We love this spot and will definitely be back.
