Jv's Taproom - Plainville

I absolutely loved the menu! We had a fantastic meal. The highlight was that the drink menu featured Pisco Sour, which is my favorite drink and is often missing from other restaurants! I ordered the lobster with drawn butter and charcoal, and it was delicious—there were at least five claws! My husband chose the Prime Rib and really enjoyed it, and our friends both had Ribeyes, which they said were excellent. We will definitely be back!

I wish I had been here when it was still called Confetti. My youngest daughter claims it's her second favorite pizza spot. Personally, I think it deserves six stars since she devours all the pizza on her own! The onion straws are fantastic, and the staff is wonderful as well. We keep coming back to enjoy the food, the atmosphere, the drinks, and the service.

The food was excellent! The hostess staff were fantastic, and although we were initially told there would be a half-hour wait, it ended up being an hour. The hostess kept us informed throughout, so we never felt neglected. The decor had a cozy, apartment-like vibe, but while the food felt suitable for a nice dinner, the dining room had more of a generic banquet atmosphere.

Had dinner here and it was great! I had beef, vodka pasta and potato wedges. You were great! I also had the two rivers vacation beer on tap and that was delicious! I'd recommend eating something here. Service was great!

We held many family events when it was Confetti's. Service and food was always wonderful. When we were planning my brother's services and found out that Peter and Joan owned JV'S Taproom...it was a must for the reception! Food and service is still absolutely wonderful! I was very impressed with the show kitchen! Definitely going to be a regular stop for me when I am visiting West of the River!
