China Dragon - Plainview
China Dragon
Description
China Dragon on Long Island serves hearty, meat-forward Chinese-American dishes—sesame chicken, beef-and-broccoli and standout dumplings—made with fresh ingredients and generous portions. While mains and soups earn praise, fried appetizers are often greasy. Service is inconsistent, with brusque staff, occasional utensil/communication lapses and slow deliveries; dine-in can be noisy. Best for takeout or diners seeking flavorful, substantial plates; those wanting a quiet, refined experience may be disappointed.

THERE WAS A FINGER NAIL ON MY FOOD!!! as an like someone cut his nails on the kitchen. SUPER SUPER GROSS
Got my soup and shrimp roll and forgot to give me a a spoon and made me wait 10 mins and gave the spoon to someone else and I even asked them to give me a spoon...bad communication with the boy with glass who takes care of transaction..
I eat Chinese food once a year or so, and am from out of town, figured New York Chinese food will be better than NC. I was craving all the yummy appetizers. Food is in fact delicious, but OMG! The grease. I feel like everything was deep fried, even the scallion pancake was oozing oil, even after blotting the pieces with paper towels I feel like I was just eating fried dough with a side of oil. The shrimp toast was so saturated in oil that the flavor was almost completely swallowed by the oil, and honestly was even oiler than the pancake. Egg roll is much better, like it was precooked and then reheated when ordered, which was fine since it was less oily that way. The best thing was the dumplings, which were perfect. I feel like I just drank a glass of hot grease…. Maybe I will make better choices next time.
Completely standard Chinese food for long island. Are cheap about anything extra. Unpleasant to deal with. And a touch pricey for what could be an unpleasant experience.
