Ichiban Sushi - Plainsboro

The Ichiban roll was the best sushi I've ever tasted. Everything was incredibly fresh and delicious. From now on, this will be my go-to spot for sushi!

I've been ordering from Ichiban for many years, both for dine-in and takeout. However, I've noticed that they are serving less food than what is described on the menu, and the prices remain the same. It appears that they have reduced the portion sizes, as the bento boxes are noticeably smaller than in previous orders. I will no longer order from here because the restaurant seems to be stingy and ungenerous.

You know those times when you crave something specific, but you want it to be really good? Well, you've just found the place. The sushi rolls here are generously sized and well-filled, and everything I've tasted so far has been fantastic. My personal recommendation? Definitely try the yellowtail collar!

The sashimi and sushi were fresh, and the cooked dishes were also tasty. My advice is to order more sashimi than sushi, as it tends to run out quickly. You can't eat both sashimi and sushi at once!

I wish I could give zero stars. This is my third time visiting, and I still couldn’t enjoy my meal. I only get to eat sushi once a month because it's hard to find time. I ordered 30 pieces of sashimi, but they only brought half of what I ordered. When I placed another order, it took 45 minutes to get even less than before! When I asked if they could complete my order, they simply said “not enough” and walked away. This is not what all-you-can-eat should be. Zero stars.
