The food is absolutely delicious. It is tasty without sacrificing presentation and creativity. The chef carefully and successfully combines different flavors and ingredients and yet allows for the main flavor to be the setting tone of the dish. The atmosphere is clean and modern and yet cozy. The service was also great. Attentive and actively cleaned our plates and utensils 3 times. Service: Dine in

Nestled in an unassuming location, this restaurant offers a delightful blend of French-influenced cuisine that has garnered rave reviews for its flavors and presentation. Diners are enamored with dishes like the perfectly cooked shrimp and exquisite octopus; however, portion sizes have sparked some debate. While many appreciate the delicate balance of flavors, a few critiques have surfaced regarding specific dishes being overly rich or lacking in quantity for the price. The ambiance is charming, and the BYOB policy adds to its allure. Overall, it remains a hidden gem worth exploring for its remarkable culinary offerings.

Absolutely amazingly flavorful and delicious menu. We are so pleasantly surprised that there is such quality cuisine available close by. If you want to dry delicate and flavorful dishes influenced by French cuisine and don’t need a kilo of pasta in your plate, definitely, this is definitely worth the price. My only hope and comment is regarding the location. I don’t love the location, but keep going back because the food is excellent. I hope that they would consider changing the location or at least expanding the dining room and back yard as well. Looking forward to our next visit!

Delicious, but very heavy. Everything was full of cream and butter. The food was more French than Italian. Foie Gras Pasta was very cheap. Pizza was much more oily than average, but the crust was very thin and crispy. The mushroom soup and shrimp crepes were absolutely delicious.

My Wife I were in the area looking for a nice BYOB. Even though one of servers wasn't our waiter, he took the time to describe his favorites. Our waitress was totally professional and knowledgeable. We were debating on getting dessert and we decided against it. The owner heard what we thinking of and he brought it to us on the house. It was our first time there and we can't wait to go back. It's totally worth the 25 minute drive to us.

I tried this restaurant entirely because it's so highly recommended on Yelp and Google. The pictures people share are amazing, but it's no comparison to the food. It's so delicious that it was hard for me to share it with my family! The only complaint would be the price, making it hard to order it frequently. Even though we tried our first meal via delivery service, it arrived hot and the ice cream was still cold. (I couldn't take a picture of the dessert before I started eating it. It was impossible due to overwhelming deliciousness

I can’t say enough good things about this place! The food was incredible, and the staff/service were unbeatable. My friends and I split the octopus to start which was so tender and delicious. I ordered the branzino which was really good, and one of my friends ordered the 10oz short rib. When she had a bite of mine she asked if we could switch because she decided she wanted that instead so I took her plate and am so happy I did! The short rib was super tender and delicious and she loved the branzino. After we split the apricot bread pudding and that was phenomenal as well. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more!

A smaller, unassuming restaurant hidden in Plainfield is the home of some of the most delicious food I’ve had in a long time. We were fortunate to grab the last parking space there. We were promptly seated with our reservation, and we sought to try the fried Burrata, market salad, salmon, and Margherita pizza. My favorites of the night were the market salad and the Margherita pizza, both of which I believe to have a great flavor. Service was attentive and very quick, and the bathroom was nice and clean. Dessert was delicious as well, I would recommend the apricot bread pudding, which was a smashing hit. All in all, a terrific experience that I would recommend for anyone who is a self-proclaimed foodie.

Great, friendly staff! truly a hidden gem and the food was A M A Z I N G! The mussels appetizer was to die for, the white sauce had us asking for more bread so we could get more of it! Came here for a lunch but will be back to have their dinner!

The pasta was delicious, and everything we ordered was enjoyable. The parking lot was full, so we had to find street parking. However, inside the restaurant, there were only four other customers. The dining area is quite small, featuring cramped and uncomfortable tables for two.

I stopped by for a late lunch on my way from the airport to the hotel. Even though I arrived near closing time, the service and food were both exceptional. I ordered a prosciutto, fig, and mozzarella sandwich, along with a margherita pizza. Both dishes were delicious, and the coffee was superb—freshly brewed and reminiscent of an Americano, rather than from a pot or pod machine. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience.

This is by far one of the toughest reviews. My food was good, I had the grilled chicken sandwich with pepper, it came with coated fries which I really loved, however my friend ordered the meatballs as an appetizer and the pizza, unfortunately hedidn’t like either. I tasted the pizza and didn’t care for it myself, but I believe it was due to the Gorgonzola cheese. Thecrust was fine, the cheese just wasn’t my favorite. The customer service was fantastic, the young lady was very attentive, informative and accommodating. I would try the restaurant again but the biggest problem I had was the menu selection; with thatsaid I would try the dinner menu with hopes of having a better selection of dishes.

Jessica’s Cafe is an Italian and French fusion BYOB restaurant. I wanted to try this restaurant for a long time because of all the amazing reviews I read. The prices here are reasonable, and the portions were all a nice size. For appetizers weordered the beet salad and the mushroom and shrimp crepe. We weren’t that impressed with our appetizers, but overall theywere decent. The shrimp in the crepe you can tell were frozen prior. I had this appetizer at several other French restaurantswhere it was much better. It was very bland, and I wouldn’t order it again. For dinner we ordered the branzino and theshrimp rigatoni. The branzino was FANTASTIC! It came in a delicious red pepper sauce, and it was served over Caponata. Theskin was crispy to the branzino, and it was cooked perfectly. I HIGHLY recommend ordering it! The shrimp rigatoni was verygood! For dessert I had the goat cheesecake. It was very good, but it’s not what I expected. It was more like a pie than acheesecake. It was good like I said, but I wouldn’t order it again because it’s not my type of dessert I like. Next timeI’d like to try the bread pudding or the apple tart. My waitress was very nice, and we are looking forward to dining hereagain. We weren’t impressed with the appetizers we chose, but the dinners and dessert were delicious. I recommendJessica’s Cafe in Plainfield!

Everything we ordered was delicious, service was great, and chef/owner came to check on us afterward to ensure we enjoyed everything. We went for an anniversary dinner, and are already planning our next trip back
