What Paul Weiner dislikes about City's:
I experienced incredibly poor customer service both in person and over the phone. They refused to take my order, seemingly due to a language barrier. The menu is available in both English and Spanish, and considering that Plainfield is a diverse community, they should be able to accommodate customers who don’t speak Spanish. *I’m rating this as someone who isn’t a native Spanish speaker but can typically manage basic... This place used to be my go to for pupusas and baleadas. I'm not sure if they changed cooks. But my order is always wrong , burnt or very oily. The taste is just not the same. I always go in person BTW) Traducido por Google) Este lugar solía ser mi lugar de pupusas y baleadas. No estoy seguro si cambiaron cocineros. Pero mi pedido siempre sale mal, quemado o muy aceitoso. El sabor simplemente no es el mismo. Siempre voy en persona por cierto)

I arrived first, but they served five other customers before me. What terrible service!

I ordered a simple breakfast that included regular and Mexican nachos, a smoothie, and a sparkling water. They charged me 40 pesos, but the menu listed each dish at 10 pesos. It seems the waitresses take advantage of customers, and the owner might even be encouraging them to take an excessive tip of 10 pesos or more from everyone. They then linger around to see if you'll give them more. This was my last visit; they are quite deceitful.

I had an incredibly frustrating experience with the customer service, both in person and over the phone. They refused to take my order, seemingly because of a language barrier. The menu is available in both English and Spanish, and since Plainfield is a diverse town, they should be able to accommodate customers who don't speak Spanish. I’m not a native Spanish speaker, but I usually manage to communicate in Spanish-speaking countries with basic conversational skills.
