I had the shrimp pesto pasta, wife had the penne pasta with Artichoke and salmon, and the kid had the nuggets. To start, young lady serving us was very nice and attentive. She was always around in case she was needed so she was the bright side of the dinner. My pesto pasta with shrimp had zero salt. I had to salt the pasta 3 times to get to an acceptable level. The shrimp appeared the size of one's you'd see used in a Chinese shrimp fried rice as well as well as being overcooked and tough. My wife's pasta dish included a few Artichoke leaves on the top but zero Artichoke throughout the pasta itself which was disappointing. Also, the sauce was an extremely thick cheese and cream mixture that was far too thick. She managed to only eat a third of the dish before she couldn't stomach anymore. Lastly, the nuggets were from McDonald's. No lie....they had the McDonald's smell and visible texture on the inside. Very odd. Overall, for an $84 bill after tip, we won't be going back here.

We orde... read more Lovely little restarting at the north end of Owasco lake. Established in an old Inn that still has 8 charming rooms for lodging with a view of the lake. We ordered specials, a delicious scallop soup and a grilled scallop salad which were excellent. The server, Jackie, was very friendly and attentive. I would recommend trying this out. It's about a mile from Auburn with a beautiful park (Emerson Park) just a short walk down the road.
