Great service and fun food selection with interesting combinations for breakfast. I really enjoyed the lox on an everything bagel. Would definitely go back.

We stopped at The Ugly Mugs' Coffee Tea on our way to Boa Vista. We desperately needed caffeine and I knew I would be in for a long day. We were greeted by a super friendly staff member behind the counter and asked some questions before settling on some drinks and a breakfast sandwich. I ordered a dirty chai with two shots of espresso and a breakfast sandwich with pepper jack cheese and sausage. The drink was so good, it had really flavorful chai and was just the boost I needed. The sandwich was also delicious, though I didn't have a chance to finish it before getting busy at my event. I would definitely recommend this spot if you're in the neighborhood or planning a visit. It would be a great spot to meet up with friends or a coffee date and there's plenty of options on the menu to explore.

Delicious! Everything we ate and drank was delicious. We ordered three latte's with 3 different specifications. An egg wrap and a brownie. Everything was yummy. The inside was very cute. Games on the tables for someone to enjoy. Every prepackaged meal was fresh. Just passing through but if I lived near I would definitely have returned for a second round.

If you are traveling up the 50 to Tahoe or just need a coffee and are in Placerville, you need to stop at Ugly Mugs '. They pull espresso with no hesitation and the brand they use is delicious. No bitterness and it 's rare you can get 4 shots in a medium at other places but always here. If it 's too much (don 't worry, Mindy will tone it down for you) or sometimes you need more.....trust me, you won 't need more but hey, to each their own. The staff is sweet and Mindy takes the time to get to know her customers. It feels like a hometown coffee place should. No one is treated like an outsider here, no matter where you are coming from. To top it off, if you need a treat, they carry @flourlessbakery goods of all kinds. Every single thing we have tried has been nothing short of delicious so I recommend trying all and any @flourlessbakery goods you can get your hands on. Thanks to Ugly Mugs ' and Mindy for having such a great place!
