I really liked that the tables were spaced out from one another. Friendly staff. We made reservations for 5 adults 3 kids for a Friday evening around 5:30pm to be safe, but we didn't need the reservations as it wasn't crowded when we arrived. Since there was a mixture of us who enjoyed cooked versus raw rolls, we ordered various rolls to satisfy all taste buds. Started with an order of vegetable tempura $9.95) along with spicy tuna $9.95), Lollipop $16.45), California Roll $8.95), Area 51 $16.45), Volcano $16.95), Rainbow $15.95), and Lion King $16.45).All in all, the rolls were good but it was quite pricey for the portion. For the same price we paid $40pp), it might have been better going to AYCE.
I 've passed by Wasabi Sushi Roll numerous times and finally was able to give it a try. We came for an early dinner on Friday evening and was greeted by the kind staff. The restaurant was fairly empty and there was plenty of indoor table seating as well as seating at the bar.We ordered a variety of raw and cooked rolls including the California Roll $8.95), Spicy Tuna $9.95), Volcano Roll $16.95), Lion King $16.45), All in One $15.45), Lollipop $16.45), Rainbow Roll $15.95), 49er Roll $16.45), Area 51 $16.45) and an order of Vegetable Tempura $9.95). The food came out within about 15 minutes and we were ready to dig in. All the rolls were enjoyable but I particularly liked the All in One which was a no rice roll of tuna, salmon, yellowtail, crab salad, avocado, and pieces of shrimp tempura, along with the Area 51 roll which was a soy paper roll of tuna, salmon, albacore topped with yellowtail and their special sauce. The fish was fresh and while enjoyable, the prices are certainly stiff for the the portion size. The quality is slightly better than most AYCE sushi places, however you get far less bang for your buck.If you 're in the area and are craving for good sushi, Wasabi is a decent option, but it 's definitely not a place I 'd drive out of my way for.
Love this place. I would say it's sort of a hidden gem. Great quality of fish and very consistent.
We ordered a couple of rolls and the chirashi meal. The food came out pretty fast. The fish was fresh.
They are really great to the kiddos and the sushi is super fresh and delicious! Best sushi I've had in the area!
