Gina Maria's Pizzeria - Placentia

This was my first visit to the restaurant. Overall, the food was quite good and the portion sizes were generous. We ordered pasta dishes and a meatball sandwich. The waitress was friendly; however, my meal (the lasagna) did not arrive until everyone else had finished their food. The waitress mentioned that the kitchen was short-staffed, but we noticed that other diners were receiving their meals promptly, mostly pizza orders. I'm not sure if we will return, but perhaps we might come back to try the pizza.

After a difficult day, we wanted to try something new while staying close to home. Placentia turned out to be a delightful surprise! We sampled everything: the antipasto salad, garlic knots, pizza, and calzone wings. It was a delicious family dinner that exceeded our expectations. Thank you—we'll definitely be returning!

I visited to take advantage of an annual birthday offer and found plenty of great seating options both indoors and outdoors. The service was excellent, with a nice flow in the delivery of drinks and food. The large pizza was made perfectly according to our customized order. The wings were sizable and flavorful, though they could have been a bit crispier (I'll be sure to request that next time). The small house salad was also generously portioned, easily enough to serve two people or more.
