If your seeing this review, the se... read more Came here due to the fact it’s beside my hotel and seen some reviews of the service not being the best but the food was good. If your seeing this review, the service was excellent! I don’t know what these other people’s problems were? Maybe they just don’t speak the language? But the service was great and the food was even better ! Would be coming back forsure on this trip!

We casually asked the staff if we c... read more We arrived in Pizzo when most restaurants were closed on way to another city, but he had read great reviews about Moby Dick. We casually asked the staff if we could order pizza and they went all out. This family owned business is charming and authentic. They gave us great recommendations from the limited menu, and even suggested a couple of appetizers available while the kitchen prepared for their busy dinner. Amazing pizzas and unmatched service. Thank you!

So let me make this clear the food was good, apart from a bit stale bread at the begging. My review here is about the service and the hospitality side the headw... read more So let me make this clear the food was good, apart from a bit stale bread at the begging. My review here is about the service and the hospitality side the headwaiter/owner did not seem to welcome us at all but was much more hospitable to others. We had to ask for everything, from A to Z, oil, salt and pepper, sauces...whilst others were served with everything with a smile. I am suspecting my arab looks put him off. He didnt seem interested at all to communicate with us, and the others were tourists too. Definitely not racism but we felt offended by this imagine all the tables being served with a smile and all of that Italian glare, and we left like animals on the side. Definitely wont go back if we ever visit Pizzo again
