Old Stage Saloon At Fountain Springs

The food and atmosphere are very good here. Great place to stop during a bike ride. I've stopped here several times but only eaten once. I had a bacon burger. This thing was massive and juicy. Very good. Service was great even though it was packed.

Great food, but it was super busy and only one waitress. She was doing her best. What I enjoyed: pastrami sandwich and mushroom burger were tasty. Disappointed: up charge for onion rings without being notified. Getting charged 3.25 per drink, when the menu said otherwise. Also, what I can assume was a family menber helping themselves to enter the kitchen to get their own sodas, while my drinks were not refilled. Sorry.. won't be heading back anytime soon.

The live music is amazing. The steak is better than any steak I've had for double and triple the price. Not a place for vegetarians as there isn't a single option apart from fries or side salad. Highly recommend if you're a steak lover.

Ordered a Cali Burger and the buns were completely burned. No avocado on the burger as advertised. The lettuce was old and turning brown. Slow service. Waitress forgot my second beer I ordered. Food was not worth the expensive price. Won't be going back.

While in the area we randomly in the area we came across this restaurant. Very glad we did Since the Porterville area is more than lacking any relatively decent options. Upon pulling in to the restaurant later in the evening we had seen people on the outdoor patio available but there was absolutely no lights on in front. Not being from the area I didn't know where I was going so we had used a flashlight on our phone. Mind you this place in rural so it gets very dark. When we entered it was a whole new story. Very bright and welcoming. It seems to be the neighborhood hangout so don't be surprised when everyone turns their heads to see who came in. We looked around and the the establishment was very clean and we loved the theme and decor! That's our style though. ???? We decided to sit at the bar and eat due to football being on. ???? after waiting approximately 5 min the bartender approached us. Very friendly and helpful. Although she appeared to be very busy as she was not only working the bar but I believe working all the tables in the bar area unless the person she was working with was just that incompetent . Either way while the wait was longer than hoped she gave every customer she came in contact with her full attention. She's an amazing staff member kudos to her!! Wish I would've had her name to give her a shout out! When the food arrived it had a amazing appearance. Everything looked fantastic!! Although my order was messed up a bit I didn't bother saying anything due to our time schedule and the bartenders situation. The food was absolutely delicious ???? Everything was perfect cooked to perfection. So while we are in the the area on business for a while this is definitely our new home and most definitely the best we have had in the area so far.
