Although I did not eat any other items from the menu, the menudo was fabulous! only cooked at the weekend, this was filled with both a heavy help of tripe and very delicate booze feet. the suppe was not over salted, in contrast to most menudo I tried elsewhere, nor was its basic thick or oily. the best part of this meal was teresas service. she was patient with my poor Spanish, and she led me to different chilies whe... The food and atmosphere are fantastic! The owner, Teresa, is incredibly friendly. I really appreciate her!
While I didn’t try anything else from the menu, the menudo was absolutely fantastic! Available only on weekends, it was packed with generous portions of tripe and very tender pig feet. The broth wasn’t overly salty, unlike most menudo I’ve tried elsewhere, and it wasn’t thick or greasy either. The highlight of my meal, however, was Teresa’s service. She was incredibly patient with my limited Spanish and even guided me to different chili options when she discovered I love spicy food. This place is a must-visit for anyone who enjoys menudo!
We stumbled upon this restaurant during a short road trip, and it was a pleasant surprise. The service was incredibly friendly, and I highly recommend trying the Traditional El Salvadoran breakfast!
This is the best place ever!!! The 7mares and pupusas are the best. If you're not eating here you are missing out. Very authentic, best in the valley.
Love their pupusas the aguachiles for lunch. Everything I have tried here tastes authentic homey.
