Food was excellent and the view of the river from the inside was unexpectedly scenic. Despite everything in the building being as old as it is, the restrooms and bar were very clean. The bartender/ owner did not come off as the most people person at first, but once we sat down for a bit they were much more friendly.If your traveling through the area and not in a hurry, its definitely worth the stop. Was hot inside and bartender/owner said in was too late in the season to turn on the air! Seemed to be having a bad day too! Kinda an effort to make our drinks. Didn't stay long! View all feedback.

Food is good at reasonable prices. Owner a little quirky, but mellows after awhile. Typical Wisconsin bar.
