Food was excellent as were the baked goods, double bacon cheeseburger was cooked perfectly, veggies were crisp, although I do think the bacon was microwaved. Great french fries. Religious music playing overhead was a bit of a turnoff. View all feedback.
What Susan Lehan doesn't like about Poponovers:
My two friends and I tried for the first time. It was busy and noisy at lunchtime. We all ordered the haddock sandwich and were very disappointed. The fish was not fresh and was overcooked, dry and tasteless. The fries and homemade chips were good. Bakery items looked tempting. We all regretted ordering the fish. I doubt I'd ever go back. When you spend $17 for a sandwich, you expect much more. View all feedback.
Passed by the town and went in for lunch. Customized and very friendly service by staff there, cooked two sunny side up eggs (not on the menu) based on request, delicious lobster roll, very happy visit.
Best muffin I’ve ever had. They were out of cold brew and offered to make a latte for the same price and they were so nice!
Great baked goods and coffee, reasonably priced especially for a small, local shop and service is great. Only complaint is the hours hard for a working person, not opening during morning breakfast times and only one weekend day. I'd go here way more often if it was possible! Maybe open even a little earlier on Saturdays? 10:30am seems late for a place with breakfast
Great popovers, salads, wraps and helpful service. Easy parking around back.
Gluten free options. Onion rings were the star of my meal.
