Small, well-stocked roadside stores offer convenient fuel and famously decent gas-station pizza, but unreliable service dampens the experience. Guests report long waits, late or undercooked deliveries, poor phone responsiveness and occasional pump outages; staff can seem young and indifferent and management has been unprofessional at times. Practical for quick fuel and grab-and-go meals, the chain’s convenience and selection are undermined by inconsistent food quality and customer-service issues that need attention.

In the first photo is what I ordered, and in the second photo is what I received. The cheese looked like it had just been rolled and slapped onto the sub, and there were hardly any vegetables—mostly just bread. I specifically requested EXTRA of everything, but I didn't receive that. Yet, the employee was quick to step outside when we arrived. This is really disappointing. Normally, I don't call to complain about incorrect orders because I recognize how challenging it can be to accommodate everyone's preferences, but this person didn't seem to make any effort. The wait time is significantly longer than they claim, and some of the staff can be quite rude. If you go in to pick up your food and it’s over half an hour late, they shouldn’t be upset when you ask about it. I won't be ordering from here again.
After arriving at pump 2 for diesel with our 24-foot travel trailer, we discovered that the pump was out of order. It was quite challenging to maneuver the trailer around since we had a sway hitch attached, which requires careful turning. Thankfully, my husband managed to get it done. I went into the store to suggest that they block off the nonfunctional pump so that the next customer wouldn't face the same issue. Unfortunately, they said they couldn't block it but apologized for the inconvenience. The staff seemed young and indifferent to the situation.
They have great pizza. And great breakfast food.
