I had the burger, and it was really delicious! However, it fell apart a bit, so it was easier to eat with a fork and knife rather than with my hands like a typical burger. Overall, I enjoyed my meal, and Omnis was also happy with her food. View all feedback.
What DAMIAN ALBERTO MIRANDA MORALES doesn't like about Piper's Pub:
Frankly, This isn 't the same place it use to be. They played the covid game just to collect, the quality has suffered on this once beautiful spot. I 'm sad to say, this gem of a location is not what is use to be and that is not at fault of the employees. I use to say: Hard wood pub with pump stouts and decent scotches if you 'd like. The staff is welcoming and keep up very well on those extra busy days. If you 're c... View all feedback.
Piper's Pub. First and foremost at Piper's. Food: excellent. Atmosphere: fantastic. Service: Very friendly to make you feel comfortable and relaxed to set you in the mood for a great time. The Pub Chip Shop is also amazing serving Dohnuts made fresh daily along with the fish chip and everything else. All in All, it's like home from home. I've been to many places around America over the past 26 years being from the Isle Of Man and have eventually found what I was looking for. Great food and a brilliant authentic pub/restaurant chippy with great people looking after you. All the best.
I have loved this place pretty much my whole childhood. If you wanted good irish food this was the place to go. The cottage pie , the meatloaf, the potato soup, anything in the menu was guaranteed to be delicious. This used to be a once a week spot for my husband and I. We noticed the menu expanded and could not wait to come back. The experience was unfortunately a disappointment. The cottage pie was comparable to a can of Dinty Moore. The woman who waited on us seemed more interested in getting back to her conversation with the man she was talking to. There were a total of 4 pieces of semi chewy beef in my meal. I am so sad at the death of this legendary spot in the south side. RIP Pipers Pub.
So great you don't want to leave. Best bar in Pittsburgh.
A true Football Bar! That's soccer for us Americans, but what a find! Plenty of screens around the bar and bar area, plus more in the back where the dining area is. Amazing beers on tap, a fine selection of whiskeys of course and the friendliest bartenders... Even the owner was about, making sure everything was right. We didn't eat, but plenty were and it's a traditional Irish Pub fare. If you're a fan, and your fave club is playing, WATCH IT HERE surrounded by your fellow fans and football fanatics.
I thought this place served Scottish food. No meat pies and the entres were all English food.
