What User doesn't like about Harris Grill:
I ordered laughs and it was clearly frozen, overcooked, and in a ground unusable. I built a bowl. my friend ordered her salmon on an salat and it was quite good. not sure why the restaurant used for the different orderings different fish. View all feedback.
Food and preparation was not great. Drinks are unpaid.
I was in Harris Grill in Shady side and loved it, but this place had several mistakes that I hope can be fixed because it is a beautiful rooftop / sitting and is new in downtown. They were from most foods we wanted to order at 5:00 on a Saturday that was disappointing. They also do not sell the most common beers like COORS LIGHT and CORONA LIGHT. I thought that was weird. Our waitress was also not very well known on the menu.
Fun roof dinner, creative menu, and amazing Mac and cheese.
Harris Grill downtown is a fairly new spot but it is well known because of its sister locations in Shadyside and Mt Washington (Shiloh Grill). It is a lively and loud bar scene kind of place, but they offer good, creative bar food from a witty menu. We started with an appetizer of grilled chicken skewers that were very tasty. I followed with a large, hearty crab cake sandwich and tater tots, and my companion had an Italian sub that was chockful of meats, cheese and veggies. Fun food that is great with one of those frozen drinks or anything else. If you don't love noise, you may not be too happy. The Friday night bar crowd was loud! And those stairs are steep!!!
The Sunday brunch buffet was excellent, small selection but everything was very good, fresh, and tasty.
