I am originally from New York and was visiting a restaurant on the North Bank. I placed my pizza order around 1:30 and it was ready by 2! While many say New York has the best pizza and no other state can compare, this pizza was truly exceptional. The flavor was distinct and one of the best I've ever had. I will definitely order from here again if I'm ever in Pittsburgh. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Giovanni's Pizza Pasta:
Pros of this restaurant include delicious food and late hours of operation. However, the customer service is lacking and the prices are expensive. The Texas Steak Hoagie is a standout menu item, but the customer's request to wrap it in foil is often ignored. Online orders do not receive the promised free bread twists. Also, the Reuben Hoagie may disappoint those who do not enjoy cole slaw as it is a main ingredient.... View all feedback.
DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!! PLEASE READ!!! This IS THE Giovanni?s in town on 6th st. Placed an order for pickup. Pizza ok Raviloli mediocre Italian hoagie SEE PICTURES! The meat was rancid, it SMELLED! Made my daughter gag; was NOTedible! Called and asked for a manager, was placed on hold. Someone else picked up, on hold again. This happened 2 more timesbefore a manager picked up. Told them about the hoagie and asked them to refund me for the hoagie. Manager said, ?sure, if youbring it back?. WHAT?! So we did. I took the hoagie down and told them to smell the meat, look at it! I demanded a full refunddue to the inappropriate handling of this situation. The manager had no empathy and did not care at all. I WILL be calling andvisiting tomorrow! I will also be calling the health department due to how rancid this meat looked, smelled, and tasted!
Great pizza and cheese cake, really good experience after the Steelers game. The restaurant was. totally packed but we got our pizza and meal in less than 20 minutes, which was great. Overall, great experience not the best pizza ever, but a really goodpie for the price and location.

Overall, it is not recommended to order the Reuben Hoagie unless you specifically request for the cole slaw to be omitted.
I ordered a dish without lettuce or tomato, but it arrived with both. When I called to address the issue, the manager told me to pick off the lettuce and tomato as if she were my mother. This incident occurred at 12:30am on Friday, November 18th. The manager then threatened to hang up on me without giving me a refund or fixing my order. When I received a replacement dish, I discovered that it contained raw meat, which could have made me sick. This employee should be terminated.
