What Regina Long doesn't like about Papa Nachos:
The service was ok, we didn't blame them because they were slow. Being short staffed is what brought it down. The food was ehh. We opted for the just an appetizer platter. Short staffed and it took almost an hr to get food. The beer glass was chipped (being a bartender myself that was always a no no. Not sure if I would go again but the chips and salsa were the best thing we ate. View all feedback.

We have always liked the food at Papa Nachos and visit often. However; yesterday afternoon we ordered our favorite, the Taxco, and it seemed to have changed. The food seemed to be different, had no flavor, and was warm, but not the usual hot. We have always loved this meal because it is consistent in flavor and is always served hot. Not sure what happened but we won't go back for awhile. Sunday, March 24, 2023, 1:30 PM.
We have been here twice now. We just moved to town and we are from a bigger metropolis where a mexican restraurant/tex-mex restaurant is within a stone 's throw in each direction and let me just say, we are impressed. In small town east Texas is a perfect place to get our fix . The chicken in both the fajitas and in the quesadillas are really good and not dry, the chips and salsa are spot on!, and the margaritas are some of the best I have had and we have visited our fair share of mexican restaurants. The hubby had the queso blanco with brisket and pico and I even took some even though I am not a cheese person, it was really good! Rice is fluffy and flavorful, the charro beans are also really good....all around, the place was amazing! Staff was quick and friendly, and the place was clean and inviting. We will be back over and over again!
