Shocked that this is rated so highly. This worse than hibachi japanese you would get a a mall food court. Much worse. New Japan Restaurant is a new restaurant in Pittsboro serving hibachi style Japanese food They do offer a few sushi rolls on the menu.
First, the food isn't really "Japanese Hibachi" style, rather a poor attempt at Chinese Food with Teriyaki added.
When this place first opened the food was to die for !!! I ate there tonight and the portions were not worth the money I paid . Very disappointed.

The "crab rangoon" came rolled as spring rolls (real crab rangoon in picture for menu) with only 1% crab in it. The ginger sauce was actually really hot spicy sauce. Usually they are better than this. Pretty disappointing.
