I would like to have paid twice this price for the meal. really friendly staff, beautiful weeping, great whisky selection and fabulous in mind to cover everything. oh and my wife also commented on how comfortable the chairs were

I enjoyed all menu items, especially the traditional Scottish breakfast with the sausage, black pudding and...haggis highly recommended.

The hotel is beautiful and very cozy and cozy while it is on the market. the food was incredible aromen and with Scottish ingredients, it was perfect size porti... read more The hotel is beautiful and very cozy and cozy while it is on the market. the food was incredible aromen and with Scottish ingredients, it was perfect size portioning. the only thing was that it felt that the hotel was targeting the older generation, so when we arrived a bit younger, they almost didn't know what to do. they can get the drink menu on jazz and get even more money with some current drinks such as beer on tap or cocktails. overall it was nice, but could add some modern twists.

The dinner was excellent, with a good set menu offering plenty of choices... read more I had a very comfortable stay at this restaurant. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The dinner was excellent, with a good set menu offering plenty of choices. The restaurant also had an impressive selection of wines and whiskies. I particularly enjoyed the smoked haddock risotto and the beef. Breakfast was also very good. The room was comfortable and had everything you would expect. The location was convenient, just a short 5-10 minute walk to the main street. I will definitely visit again.
