Have been going here for years as it's a hidden gem in the WNC mountains for sushi. They used to have some gnarly deals in the spring, but their lunch menu isn't too bad. We ordered strictly sushi and had it brought out on a boat. What Adam Fisher doesn't like about Sora Japanese:
Visited Sora for a Japanese meal. Food quality was average, similar to other local places. Prices were a bit high. Disappointed with an extra charge for omitting mushrooms and onions from my hibachi order. Felt like unnecessary price gouging and taking advantage of people. Food has gotten much better in the last year. Was NOT consistent for a while. Got some pretty fishy tasting rolls. Much improved in last six month!
Damn fine sushi. Reasonable prices. If there's a line it's worth the wait.Do yourself a favor.
The best sushi around. The superman roll is my favorite. My family loves getting a sushi boat. The hibachi is so delicious ?Yummy!
