We had a delic... read more We found this place by chance as we were looking for a parking lot near the tower. The owners are very friendly and make sure everything is okay. We had a delicious lasagna and pasta pomodoro followed by a delicious tiramisù and panna cotta. I recommend that you try this place as there is 2min of the tower and not a tourist break.

A nice cafe/panini/lunch place run by a lovely and sweet Italian mom, who will exactly tell you were to sit for coperto vs a full meal with tablecloth etc. Clea... read more A nice cafe/panini/lunch place run by a lovely and sweet Italian mom, who will exactly tell you were to sit for coperto vs a full meal with tablecloth etc. Clearly, she battled a horde of ignorant and rude tourists in the past, but has stayed sweet and friendly over the years. English and Italian are only spoken with a lot of gestures, and both sides will eventually understand one another. That alone made it worthwhile. Thanks for great panini. To those who expect a fast food treatment: a gentle reminder that one should respect and honor age and be as patient, gentle, and kind as possible when both language barriers and cultures collide...
