Firstly I wanted to order from the large menu (later found out this was the a la carte menu but was told by the waiter that it...was not available. Fortunately the owner (I think? was sat on the next table and said it was and told the waiter to fetch one. The daily specials are reasonable, between €8 €10 and that seemed to be what most people were having. Menu is in Italian. DH ordered carpaccio from the daily specials and ordered a tomato and balsamic tart for starter and courgette risotto for main course. 1 litre bottle of water was only €2 and was nice and cold. Just what we needed as the restaurant isn't air-conditioned. The cover bread was really nice, but no plates, so trying to pour a bit of olive oil onto it became a bit messy! Finally when our food arrived it all arrived at the same time!! The tomato tart was more like a tomato souffle but it was absolutely delicious. The risotto was also nice, but seemed lacking in something, but not sure what. Plenty of carpaccio for DH. Toilets had no hand soap, which was a bit annoying. Doubt we would go back, despite how much I enjoyed the tomato tart/souffle.

On the way back from the tower pisa. and the waiter was extremely attentive and accommodating. we even forgot our bag at the tower, and while I went to get it,... read more On the way back from the tower pisa. and the waiter was extremely attentive and accommodating. we even forgot our bag at the tower, and while I went to get it, the rest of her was served. when I came back the waiter. offered me to trade my teller for a new one, even it was my own fault that I had to lead a break. that was great. we tried pizza and pasta courses and some cocktails after that before we were satisfied and full.

I could not say the same about the female employee who spoke like a.d., but didn't speak and just throw the menus on the table. the pizza was very delicious, but the beer was lukewarm as cold.
