Gusto Al 129 Pizzeria Pisa

We had only 3 hours in Pisa and this place was on the list to do in Pisa! We arrived a few minutes before the opening and we were lucky to get a table. In fact, we read that the booking was recommended as this place can be filled very quickly. The staff was very helpful when we told them we had a train to catch up and was super nice! The service was also very fast. We had the best pizzas here!!!! We had a bontà del crudo (without burrata) and amatriciana. 100% recommend this place! A must when you're in Pisa.

I tried her CAMPIONE VEGGIE Pizza. It was different from any pizza I had before. It had Pistachio Custard as base and high quality mozzarella on top along with cherry tomatoes. Tastes heavenly!

Great pizza! Some of the best I had here in Italy. They were recommended by a local artist, we bought a piece from the cathedral. They opened at 7 a.m. when we arrived. I was super surprised that the first words from her mouth when you were in the restaurant (that was completely empty) “Do you have a reservation?” Hesitantly, they sat at a small table, but said we had to be done by 8. I guess the place has to be full until this time. Service was nice and quick different. I would definitely eat there again.

Beautiful pizza, certainly one of the best in Pisa. It is so popular that you should book a reservation at least 3 days in advance to be safe. For me I recommended Campione (Pistachio sauce unique and tasty) but even Margherita is really good for 6 EUR.

Amazing pizza! dough was great and their cheese was top quality. many different items on the menu as well. I'd probably re-visit Pisa just for this!
