This is the typi... read more The very small restaurant is located in a strategic position in the historic center of Pisa, overlooking the Market Square next to Vettovaglie. This is the typical Street Food place: you buy and eat in the street, where just a few tables are organized (if we really want to find any flaw, it's precisely the fact that there are few! . You can already guess from the name, at Controkebab they don't serve a sandwich as normally known, but they use zero kilometer chicken and vegetables, grilled on the spot (with these premises you might think that the service is slow, but quite the opposite : the staff was quick and friendly . Like almost all Kebabs, they offer both the sandwich and piadina versions, but they also make vegan variations with Falafel, as well as Kebab Dishes with the addition of Rice etc. Truly a great discovery: I will definitely return!
