We really enjoyed our breakfast here. We had a reservation and we're seated right away. A reservation is not necessary but it is recommended especially on the weekends. They have indoor/outdoor seating. Very nice place. Great food and service. View all feedback.

Heard about this place from a friend and it was Great! My bison steak was delicious and my wife enjoyed her almond crusted snapper! Even had (what sounded weird but turned out delicious! cinnamon/basil/black pepper ice cream for dessert and Yummy!!
We had a great breakfast at this restaurant. Our reservation ensured we were seated immediately. While a reservation isn't required, it's advisable, especially on weekends. The venue offers both indoor and outdoor seating, creating a lovely atmosphere. The food and service were excellent.
Wow! This is an incredible dining experience hidden away in the Texas Hill Country. On my first visit for dinner, I was thoroughly impressed. The service was excellent and attentive, and the food was outstanding. The cinnamon, basil, and black pepper ice cream is a must-try—it’s unlike anything you’ve ever tasted. Make sure to take your time, enjoy the drive, and fully embrace everything that The Backyard Bistro has to offer.
Charming and cozy, this casual country cafe offers a delightful menu. I enjoyed the fried chicken, which was absolutely delicious! My husband opted for eggs, sausage gravy (a unique twist), and potatoes, all of which were nicely seasoned. We kicked off our meal with shrimp corn dogs—yes, you read that right—deep-fried shrimp served with Thai chili sauce! To top it all off, we were treated to complimentary chocolate chip cookies for dessert. We can’t wait to return. Don’t forget to explore the nearby antique store as well!
