Borgo San Vito has some fine buildings with sweeping views across the plain, it abuts an area of outstanding natural beauty that has been preserved. There is a sense of timelessness about the old town with narrow roads quite unsuited to the pace of modern life. The central church is outstanding and the interior is fascinating.
