Borgo San Vito has some fine buildings with sweeping views across the plain, it abuts an area of outstanding natural beauty that has been preserved. There is a... read more Borgo San Vito has some fine buildings with sweeping views across the plain, it abuts an area of outstanding natural beauty that has been preserved. There is a sense of timelessness about the old town with narrow roads quite unsuited to the pace of modern life. The central church is outstanding and the interior is fascinating. The entrance to AperiVito is not easy to find, but is almost opposite the Casa Lajolo. AperiVito offers really good coffee, a range of artisan beers and much, much more, within a walled courtyard that feels almost a secret place. A rare find indeed.
