We came to this beautiful place 18 years ago and it’s still spectacular. The views this hotel has to the Dolomiti are unique. If you want peace this is the magic place. The staff and the family that owes the hotel are always looking to serve you. Food is exquisite. Hotel has pool and spa services looking to the mountains. Will come back View all feedback.
After having an amazing tasting course meal at a non-Michelin starred restauarant in town durring our trip, we were really excited to see what Stube had to offer. While the dishes were presented very beautifully and the dining room was intimate, the taste of the food just didn't live up to the reputation or the price of the meal. We ordered the classic menu, but maybe other menus would fair better. The highlight of the meal were the amuse bouche. The tomato and squash savory creme brulee was unique, while the venisoin taretare bites were flavorful, and the apple foam cleanser was fun. The favorite bite of the meal was probably the coca butter ball filled with pomgranate ? juice. The mushroom croquette tasted like something I would get at any mediocre tapas restaurant. From there, the rest of the meal was fine, but nothing was particularly memorable or outstanding, which I would expect when spending 140 euros per person on the food alone. The salad course with yuzu dressing was basic, but not in a good way. The mortefella tortalini in broth tasted like pasta I could buy in the refridgerated section at the grocery store and the broth was decent but I wasn't itching to go back for the next bite. The venision with herb blanket was cooked differently for each person at the table from rare to medium , so we had to swap plates based on preferences. The pasta was jsut a cacio e pepe but made with cheese broth vs. pasta water, once again fine but not memorable or particularly unique. And then on the desserts, the coffee macaroon held room from improvement on execution was overcooked in areas, if you're going to make macaroon, you better really know how to make a good macaroon and the rest of the sweet bites tasted like something that might be served at a nice hotel conference center business lunchon caramel cream and a hazelnut ice cream I think, not bad per se, just not memorable at all . I did appreciate that they had a vary varied wine list with multiple price points, from 25 euro bottles to 500+ and the presentation fo the food was great. I just hope that they can improve on the taste and flavor in the future to make it reflect the price point and reputation of the Michelin Star. We had a tasting meal at a different restaurant in town the really outshined this one and didn't have a star , so the bar unfortunately was already set pretty high going into the meal, and this meal just didn't deliver at that same standard.

Let me commence by stating that I am a foodie and I love traveling all over the world looking for restaurants and its chefs providing best meal experiences ever. Truly this restaurant has been one of my best life experiences (and believe me I have tried a lot). Let me present You with my scores: Food Appearance 9/10 Food Execution 10/10 combination of cooking methods, perfect balance of ingredients, ease in eating the dish all top class Taste INCREDIBLE 10/10 definitively top 1% of the worlds top class restaurants After having tried their first Tasting Menu I Nostril Classici we have come back three times in one week and most shockingly we have been offered different tasting Menus and all were at the same top level!! Incredible... Highly recommended
