Boonedocks Resturant - Piney Flats

Very disappointed. I put this on my stop list because it was lake front while riding my motorcycle back to Columbus, OH from Hilton Head SC since I was staying in near by Johnson City for the night. I had to leave after over 20mins of sitting at a table with no service what so ever from the staff. Looked for another local non chain place to eat and ended up at Cootie Browns. It was great.

We love the food each year and hate the end of the season!

The one star goes to a very sweet waitress. Without her there are no stars. This used to be one of the best places on the lake to eat at however, the menu has been drastically downsized. I suspect an entirely different kitchen staff is now there. I got nachos which were no more than old hamburgers broken into chunks with white cheese melted over this mess. They evidently never add jalopenos to this concoction either. My wife and daughter had extremely dry, shoe leather like hamburgers. I could go on, but you get the idea.

I love Boonedocks. The food is very good a d the service is great and everyone is very friendly.

The food is good but overpriced in my opinion. Paid for an 11.50 burger (high to start with) and later noticed on the receipt I paid .50 for lettuce, .50 for tomato, .50 for onion that I didn't even ask for. So, $13 total for the burger, plus cost of fries and a drink. The food is good, but not that good especially when paying for a family to eat.
