The food and service here is great! I ordered the 5 piece tender meal with an extra side of slaw. Everything tasted fantastic! I have one complaint. It does cost extra for an extra sauce and the sauces are 1.5 Oz so you have to pay up or be sparing. The card machine was down which I know is not the employees fault but I wish places would install signs so that customers do not have to wait in drive thru lines or come... View all feedback.
What J K Paul doesn't like about Southern Classic Chicken:
They make you sit in the parking lot for 20 minutes waiting on your food. They never have enough cooked. Very poor service. They even put the dipping sauce in with the chicken. No telling how many people touched those sauces. Very unclean. View all feedback.

I recently ordered a 2 piece dark meat w/ roll. The menue says $2.89. At the window I was charged $3.30 plus tax. Small discrepancy, yet it's the point of the matter. The chicken wasn't anything to write home about. In fact it's way over priced. Won't be eating there again.
Food was awesome. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Chicken tenders are to die for..5
Another honest review here. The staff was prompt and friendly and the inside is very nice. I got the 2 piece dark with their house sauce, Cajun rice and a jalapeno pepper. The chicken is crispy and crunchy. That is, on the outside skin. Once the skin is removed I was left with a very greasy piece of chicken. The dirty rice unfortunately was not much better. It had a kind of a plastic taste and even squeaks when I chew it. The sauce was better than canes sauce and the ice tea was nice and sweet. There are quite a few choices for fried chicken, just on 28 east alone. They could do a little better on the quality.
