Exceptional service, smiling, courteous faces, and at closing time, the food is still fresh and hot. The fruit bar is filled with chilled various fruit slices. Sushi and soups, fresh salads, and desserts stacked into trays. Muted lighting, with low music playing, subtly invites the senses.

I highly recommend you give it a try, even if your first experience wasn't great. It’s possible you visited during a busy time when they were refreshing the food, which can happen. This place is definitely one of my favorite Chinese restaurants! The owner and manager are very nice as well!

Phoenix has become my favorite restaurant in CENLA. The power of their food is remarkable, with an endless variety to choose from, all at very reasonable prices. Personally, I find that everything is consistently fresh. The owners and their son are always welcoming and pleasant, which makes for a great dining experience, even when some customers may not be in the best mood. I affectionately refer to them as my adopted Chinese family. If you want to see how much their loyal customers appreciate them, just take a look at the photos on the wall as you enter; they capture moments with family members who love and frequent Phoenix whenever they can. Don't let negative reviews, often fueled by hate, sway your opinion. These reviews can be detrimental to businesses and spread discontent, especially in the age of social media.

The staff was beyond friendly and the food was good! I kind of tried a bit of everything. The Hong Kong chicken was fantastic! The place looks beautiful after remodel!
