Unfor... read more It's definitely worth a visit for the stunning views and excellent hiking! However, the lunch buffet left something to be desired in terms of consistency. Unfortunately, some dishes missed the mark, like the dry rolls and the rather bland green beans and corn, which seemed to come from a can. On a brighter note, there were a few standout items: the catfish was nicely breaded and well-seasoned (though served cold), the creamy whipped mashed potatoes were delightful, and the potato soup, packed with generous chunks of potato, was truly a highlight.

We arrived around 4 PM, only to be inform... read more Mother's Day Buffet, May 10, 2015. My 82-year-old mother was excited to visit the Park for her favorite dish, catfish. We arrived around 4 PM, only to be informed by the waitress that fresh food would be available shortly. Unfortunately, the mashed potatoes were dry and had brown edges, and the salad toppings and dressing were warm! Rather than listing all the problems, I’ll just say that everything meant to be hot was cold, and everything that should be cold was hot. The catfish was so cold that the oil in the pan looked white! After several complaints, they finally brought out fresh fish, but it was prepared in old oil and covered in burnt bits, rendering it inedible. My poor mother was incredibly disappointed, and I felt embarrassed for choosing this restaurant! The meal cost us $120 for six people! In reaction to our complaints about the price, the waitress offered a 30% discount, but the manager didn't even come to our table. After leaving the Park, I took my mom to Dairy Queen, where she found something she could actually eat for just $6! Looking back, we should have gone there first—the food was a hundred times better!

The service was also top-notch; even with a large crowd, the staff ensured that everyone was taken care of promptly. I really love visiting this restaurant for its wonderful atmosphere and delicious cuisine. It was definitely the best Mother's Day I've ever had!
