Once a local Cajun go-to, the restaurant is now criticized for inconsistent, low-quality meals and lax kitchen standards. Reports cite undercooked or overcrowded fried fish, raw hush puppies, stale fries, bland/underseasoned seafood and even an insect in pasta. Staff offered apologies but no compensation, leaving diners disappointed. Both dine-in and takeout experiences were flagged; improvement in cooking technique, seasoning and hygiene is needed before it can reclaim its former reputation.

Friendly staff and customers. The fried green tomatoes were delicious. The catfish with crawfish etouffee was EVERYTHING! I’m ruined. I can never make etouffee again. Mine won’t ever be that good. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20
