We absolutely love visiting Pinoli's for their incredible food. The staff is exceptionally friendly. My husband and I especially appreciate the service from Mark and Jackie—they are warm and always make us feel welcome. Give this place a try; you won't be disappointed! Once again, Cafe Pinoli has exceeded expectations. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. Despite the restaurant being extremely busy and us not having a reservation this time, they managed everything smoothly. We've already booked our next visit! Overall, I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all as 5 out of 5.
Consistently fresh, Cafe Pinoli serves the best calamari I've ever tasted. The seafood pasta is outstanding, and since this is a scratch kitchen, everything is prepared fresh each day. Their soups are also amazing. You absolutely have to try Cafe Pinoli—you won't regret it!
As always, the service was impeccable. Mark was attentive and friendly without being intrusive. One of the owners stopped by our table and was very personable, sharing stories about the restaurant's history and her partnership with the co-owner. She congratulated us on our anniversary, which was a nice touch, and our dessert was complimentary. We shared a slice of Key Lime pie, which was delicious along with the graham cracker crust, although I wasn't fond of the sweetened sour cream on top. I would definitely order it again but would request that they skip the topping. I'm so glad we discovered Cafe Pinoli this past summer, and we will certainly be returning. **Service**: Dine-in **Meal Type**: Dinner **Price per Person**: $30–50 **Food**: 5 **Service**: 5 **Atmosphere**: 4 **Recommended Dishes**: Seafood Pasta, Bread Basket
Everything was absolutely delicious and incredibly fresh! They bake their bread on-site every day, and you can really taste the difference. The fresh butter that accompanied the bread was definitely one of the highlights of the meal. We ordered the Veal Bolognese served over Pappardelle, and it was simply outstanding. We were pleasantly surprised that it also included a soup: a fresh tomato blend with a bold hint of rosemary. We can't believe we found such an upscale menu in such a small town. Fantastic job, everyone!
Charming little Italian restaurant in Pinetop/Lakeside. The food is excellent, and the service is outstanding. They accept reservations, which is fantastic—no more standing in line at 4:30 at that other Italian place in Pinetop/Lakeside just to get a table. We highly recommend Cafe Pinoli and have already booked a reservation to celebrate our 34th wedding anniversary there.
