First Time at Loon Fongs Nam Viet Bistro. It is Warm and invitinging decorated. The food was Fabulous. Big Portions. You can tell the food was prepared fresh. The Shrimp were big, not that pink canned stuff. The chicken was real chicken and hand breaded. Not that frozen stuff you get at a chinese restaurant. I would most definitely return again. What Piotr N doesn't like about Loon Fong's Nam Viet Bistro Machi Coffee Tea:
Fresh rolls were big but no peanut sauce (not the kind I?m used to) egg rolls were great no idea what others mean by bland the food was all flavored well. My boba was sweet and creamy but the actual boba pearls were overdone. Sandwich was good but cut oddly and too much bread. Servers were nice. View all feedback.
Then we were seated at a table that was incredibly dirty and had bugs in the salt shaker. The floor was also unclean. To top it off, I found a short hair in my bánh canh thập cẩm.
I recently visited Loon Fongs Nam Viet Bistro for the first time, and I found it to be warm and inviting, with lovely decor. The food was absolutely fabulous, with generous portion sizes. You could really tell that everything was made fresh. The shrimp were large and meaty, not the small pink canned variety. The chicken was real, hand-breaded, and not the frozen kind often served at Chinese restaurants. I will definitely be returning!
The fresh rolls were large, but they didn't come with peanut sauce, at least not the kind I’m accustomed to. The egg rolls were excellent, and I’m not sure why others have called them bland; everything was well-seasoned. My boba was sweet and creamy, but the boba pearls were a bit overcooked. The sandwich was tasty, but it was cut in an unusual way and had too much bread. The servers were friendly.
