I've been to the Drum and Quill many times for dinner and lunch. Mostly I've ordered food so I can't speak to the quality of the drinks. The burgers are excellent and so is the Reuben sandwich. They don't skimp on the meat. I will say the Reuben coulduse a little more cheese and sauce to finish it off perfectly. The house veggies are great and the potato salad is absolutelydelicious. Well worth the price.

We stopped here for lunch on a Saturday. Fortunately we were seated immediately (party of 2). The place is very small so for those who have parties of 5 or more, it will be almost impossible to get a table especially during the weekend. Initially, everything was going well but then once we ordered our food, the wait to get our appetizer and entrees was incredibly long. Also, we noticed that tables that were seated after us were receiving their orders when we had not even received our appetizer. My husband asked the waitress on an update for our food. We weren't told what happened but our appetizer and entrees came outshortly after. Our wings (appetizer) was no longer warm and our entress (sandwich and burger) weren't warm either. It seemedlike our order was forgotten and left to sit there. We won't be coming back. There was no acknowledgment on their end of anyerror. At best, it was an apology that our appetizer and entrees came out at the same time. Don't bother eating here. There areother better options in the Pinehurst area.

If I could give this a negative star rating I would. Food took an insanely long time to come out. We asked waitress where our food was and was told that when they went to serve it, it was cold so they had to remake it. Watched while everyone else in therestaurant got served before us (and were seated after us). When we did finally get the food, shrimp was raw (and the food wasjust awful)! On top of this, we had the cooks come out of the kitchen on multiple occasions and glare at our table shaking theirheads. We were a table of 5 with 3 children 10 and under. And they were trying standing there trying to intimidate us. If I werewith a different crew things would have turned out much differently. Don't waste your money here. Food is horrible, service ispathetic and in no way should your kitchen staff be entering the dining area to stare down the customers.

This restaurant is fantastic for dinner and music. The menu had a good variety and all the dishes we tried were delicious. The service was also exceptional.

Really enjoyed this restaurant. We ordered the BBQ nachos and it was a huge portion for the 2 of us. The Monte Cristo was very buttery and the raspberry sauce was perfect with it. I had to ask for another sauce, they don’t give you very much. To top it all off we did the Rum bread pudding it was good, but didn’t have a true custard like bread pudding consistency. We would definitely return again if in the area. The staff wasn’t as attentive and had to get her attention a couple of times.

I go there frequently. Fish and chips are outstanding. Burgers are good if you get them on Kiser. Fun, friendly place. Not gourmet, but damn good.

By far, this is one of Pinehurst's hidden secrets! This is our first time here and we were impressed by the professional and knowledgeable wait staff, welcoming atmosphere and reasonable menu pricing. With a variety of menu selections from traditional southern specialities (including fried green tomatoes) to ethnic selections (including Korean and Mexican tacos) to vegetarian dishes (including black bean burgers and grand pimento sandwiches), there's literally something for everyone. They also have a variety of in-house made desserts including Fried Twinkies, berry cobbler, Ghirardelli brownie. It was a A lovely brunch experience dining here with my teenage daughter!

Drum Quill offers a fantastic atmosphere, an excellent menu, and friendly staff who ensure every guest feels welcome and enjoys a memorable visit. We stopped by for a quick cocktail and a bite while the ladies toured the village. I highly recommend sampling their tasty house-made pimento cheeseburger.

I used to visit this place when it was called Darling House. Since becoming Drum Quill under new ownership and several updates, it has transformed into a fantastic spot to enjoy a delicious meal and drinks with friends. The atmosphere is inviting, featuring plenty of space around a large square. The menu offers a great variety, making every visit enjoyable.
