Platea Prime Steakhouse Ceviche

Exceptional food! We visited on Camus Night, and the remarkable bottle of Camus wine was graciously served at no cost! It was a fantastic complement to our delicious meal. The service is consistently attentive without being intrusive. We truly appreciate having such a wonderful restaurant in our area!

Overall, it was a great experience. The steak was slightly too salty, particularly around the edges. I had made a reservation for a birthday celebration, and it was a little disappointing that they only brought out a birthday flute at the end while we were settling the bill and leaving.

We had an outstanding experience at Platea. The dining area was beautifully decorated and inviting. Every staff member was polite and engaging. I wish I could remember our server's name, as he was incredibly attentive and knowledgeable. The food was absolutely fantastic, and we really appreciated the extensive wine list. The only aspect we didn't particularly enjoy was the over-the-top presentations. For instance, there was a sprig of rosemary placed on top of the filet, which they flambéed at our table. It wasn't something we would eat, and the smoke and smell were off-putting. Additionally, there was a frozen rose that was crushed and sprinkled over our dessert. We would have appreciated a heads-up about that, as we would have opted out. Honestly, both the food and the staff are impressive enough on their own without the theatrics, but that's just our personal preference; I'm sure many people love that kind of flair. We will definitely be returning!
