What User dislikes about Lazy Lizard:
This little place just off the highway in Pine Creek is a good standard pub but with a little Aussie Outback theme going on. I always stop in on the way past for a lunch time beer and to stretch the legs View all feedback.

Great location, we thought for a few small take cappuccinos and a ham, cheese, tomato and senf sandwich. $20,50! the coffee was delicious, but at $6.50 for a tiny carb board cup seemed a little expensive.

After departing Darwin on the Stuart Highway tomorrow, visitors should arrive just in time for lunch at Pine Creek. The menu offers a delightful selection, with friendly service to match. It's a wonderful experience to dine in such a stunning environment and people-watch.

I think I will call it now, best caravan park I was in my 32 years vacation. not a huge park, but so well designed and assembled, angled shaded sites, food business, fuel, pool, bar and restaurant, I wish I could have stayed more than a day. the use of tin, metal and wood together with old rustic wheels and so around was great, and the bar is worth visiting on its own faust. also for the half keg sinks and cister with tension chain in the detachment. together with the $9 pints I had the best barramundi ever grilled with pesto, salat and the most amazing kartoffel kartoffel! no words were spoken about dinner, everyone was very satisfied! customer service was the whole round exceptional. could not blame, even fantastic coffee on the way out!

Stayed in the Budget Double for several nights. Room was clean. Coffee, tea, sugar and milk provided look out for expiry dates. Hot showers available and comfortable bed. Shop/reception staff and housekeeping staff were very friendly, and remembered us when we came back to stay for a night after a trip to Katherine we appreciated it : Nearby places of interest: Railway Museum (where we met a friendly caretaker who shared so much with us , Enterprise Mine Lookout (up a steep hill, drive with caution , Edith Falls (40mins drive . Pub food pricey, but not many food options nearby. Pool was clean, but cold. Generally, great place to stop for 1 2 nights.

This review is for the tavern alone, as it was a convenient stop during a road trip. The atmosphere had a lot of charm, the menu had a good selection, and the substitutions for out-of-stock items were satisfying and delicious. The fig salad was particularly outstanding!
